Take the Good News to everyone
The Lost are not responsible to come to us, we must go to them.
"... repentance and remission of sins should be preached (not a sermon) in his name among all nations, beginning at Jerusalem."  Luke 24:47

Because there is no middle ground
A person is either presently saved or presently lost.
"He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God." 
John 3:18

Because it can become too late
Once a person has rejected God too far, he or she is given over to Reprobation.
"And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind"  Romans 1:28

Because death is only a heart beat away
"... but truly as the LORD liveth, and as thy soul liveth, there is but a step between me and death."  1 Samuel 20:3
